The 4-in-1 charts are the clinical records designed principally for hospital use where detailed charts for pre-term babies and their follow-up are likely to be in demand. They are also designed in decimal and duodecimal years for use by paediatric endocrinologists and general paediatricians respectively. Three of the four charts cover the period from 2 weeks – 5 years, the fourth chart illustrating the ‘panorama’ of growth from birth – 20 years. The panorama also features boys and girls pubertal stages. The charts are marketed in packs for boys and girls respectively.

The recommended standard for England and Scotland for Low Birth Weight/ Pre-Term infants is the UK-WHO Lowbirthweight chart.
