Product Description
This chart has been designed for plotting growth measurements of preterm and/or low birthweight infants from birth to the age of 2 years, after which the UK-WHO 0-4 years charts can be used. For healthy preterm babies born at or after 37 weeks gestation the UK-WHO 0-4 years charts can be used from birth, unless there is need for detailed growth assessment. The chart is also suitable for term neonates or young infants requiring close monitoring. The chart features low lines to monitor unusually short or underweight children and the date box system for gestational correction. This also comes in foldable format for PCHR.Children being plotted on this chart can be transferred at age 2 to either school school age chart or the CPCM chart.
Detailed information regarding the new charts is available on the RCPCH web site.
The UK-WHO charts are the recommended standard for infants in Scotland and England from May 11th 2009.
