The Leicester Foot Measure is a mulitpurpose instrument manufactured in toughened plastic and designed to allow length and width of childrens' and adults' feet and hands to be accurately measured. In addition, the device is also calibrated in standard UK shoe-sizes so that it can be a guide to shoe purchase*. Particularly, health professionals could advise parents about the next purchase for their children if the local shoe outlets have no specialist fitting service.
